When I received the photos from my own wedding, I realized how thankful I was to have candids of guests, especially ones I wasn’t able to interact with much on that day. A wedding day is not just about the two people getting married, but it’s a physical representation of how those two people bring many together, and how we aren’t made to do this marriage thing alone. Your wedding guests are making a commitment that they will be there to support and love you, through the highs and lows of life and marriage.
A wedding day is a wonderful kind of overwhelming, so I do my absolute best to capture interactions that the bride and groom are unaware of. Yes, I love creating beautiful portraits of the bride and groom, and you will get that when you book with me. But, my goal is to spend less time pulling you from your guests, and more time capturing you being with them. I want to capture all of the laugh-able, tear-jerking moments so you’ll always remember them. I am there to create images that will reflect the emotion of the day, and that will stand through time.
Hey there, I’m Eli!
I believe in marriage - your wedding isn’t just about your wedding day. It’s about knowing who’s there to support you in the commitment that you are making. It’s about being fully present with those you love - laughing, crying, celebrating. All of these reasons are why I am here; I believe in telling these stories.
If you want to remember who was at your wedding, and imagine yourself there with them in those moments, I’m your guy.
If you want to continue to experience the day in 10, 25, 50 years, I’m your guy.
If you want to encourage your guests that they don’t even have to bring their phones because presence is a priority and the photographer’s got it, I’m your guy!
If you want all the emotional, funny, and ridiculous things that happen on your wedding day documented, I’m your guy.
If you want the person who will be with you all day documenting to be a calming, fun, and intentional presence, I’m your guy.
